Company description::
Indiana based Airlift Services International (ASI), manufacturer of a new technology for oil production in marginal and intermediate wells, today announced plans to further expand product testing at their Illinois basin site.
The Airlift Pumping System, having been successfully proven for efficiency and increased productivity in wells over 1600' in depth, is being installed in a 3000' well.
ASI's management and engineering team is confident that advancements in materials and design will enable the pump to function at greater depths. Company President, Dr. John Marvel, stated, "We had only a few issues that were keeping us from going to the 3000' level and our engineering team believes that they have effectively addressed those issues with recent design modifications."
Marvel reported a great amount of client anticipation for the results of this latest testing phase, adding, "the ability for our pump to work in 3000 feet wells is important for the expansion of our market."
In addition to testing in deeper wells, ASI is in the beginning stages of establishing test sites in Asia and the Middle East. According to Dr. Marvel, "We have begun global market research, and are in discussion with potential partners in Asia and the Middle East. They have expressed strong interest in moving forward with us."
ASI anticipates that it will have established test sites overseas in the next 6 to 12 months. |
